Virtual Tour
Michael Perez - 3/15/2020
"A community gem for live music and vegan/vegetarian food. Their carnivorous food is very tasty. Try the fried pickle strips and/or the soft pretzels. Wings are great too. Beware though, if you go for a music show, brind earplugs."

"Good food in an eclectic, almost chaotic atmosphere. "No, we aren't here for the music," my wife told the doorman. We'd spotted Nightshop on Yelp while filling up at a gas station just off I-55. Looking for something fast, but not fast food, with a bar. Nightshop was close and had a reasonable menu. It's definitely a music venue first, bar second and restaurant third. We sat and were greeted and offered menus promptly. The menu is mostly modern, urban college student. Vegan and vegetarian options, reasonable prices and shareable food. We opted for chicken wings (naked - no sauce) and cheese curds. My wife ordered a Kettle One, rocks and I had a club soda. Her's was clearly no more than a shot over half of a small glass of ice. Mine was a pint glass of soda with no (none) ice. The sparse use of ice was amusing. The food was served quickly; hot and delicious. The wings were better than the curds, which weren't bad, just not notable. Both were plentiful. The wings were meaty and crisp, with very moist meat. Adorned with a smattering of pretzel salt, we both enjoyed them immensely. We left as the band was taking the stage."
